Equity in Athletics (EADA) Report
The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act Survey (EADA) was designed to inform current and prospective students and student-athletes about an institution of higher education’s commitment to providing equitable athletic opportunities for its men and women students. The EADA requires disclosure of information about varsity teams and the financial resources and personnel the school dedicates to them.
For Northwestern Michigan College (海角直播), this is a new compliance obligation. In 2021, 海角直播 hosted its first tryouts for males and females for its first and only varsity athletic opportunity: esports. Although very successful, the program is still in its early stages.
As required by law, this report was electronically circulated to each 海角直播 student and is maintained on 海角直播’s publicly accessible webpage for current and prospective students.
